Another consignment of medicine to arrive in SL

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Another consignment of medicine from China is due to arrive in Sri Lanka this evening.

The Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka in a Tweet said the new consignment worth Rs.650 million donated by China is part of a 500 million RMB emergency humanitarian assistance by China’s International Development Cooperation Agency.

The Embassy said the consignment departed Chengdu, China and will arrive in Colombo this evening via a charter flight of Sichuan Airlines.

The consignment consists of 100,800 PF syringes of Recombinant Human Erythropoietin Alpha Injection, 270,000 doses of Rabies Vaccines, 4,500 bottles of Fat Emulsion Injection, 2,400 vials of Pemetrexed Disodium for Injection-100mg, and 1,520 vials of PD for Injection-500mg.
