Another 1,059 persons have been arrested in the last 24 hour time frame which ended at 6.00 this morning on charges of violating curfew.
The Police Media Division stated that 249 vehicles were also seized during this period.
Accordingly since the 20th of March, the total number of persons arrested thus far in violation of curfew regulations now stands at 49,784, whilst a total of 12,903 vehicles have also been seized by Police.
