(UTV | COLOMBO) – Director General of Health Services Dr. Asela Gunawardena says the vaccination of school children between the ages of 16 and 19 will commence from tomorrow across the country.
Dr. Gunawardena said the Provincial Directors of Health Services and the District Directors of Health Services have been issued directives in this regard.
Accordingly, he said the Provincial and District Directors of Health Services will determine the implementation of the vaccination programme for school children between the ages of 16 and 19.
Dr. Gunawardena said the vaccination of school children commenced on the 15th of October in the Colombo District adding it will now be conducted island wide from today.
