(UTV | COLOMBO) – Attorney General Dappula De Livera has reportedly informed the Secretary to President Dr. P. B. Jayasundara that the Port City Economic Commission Draft Bill is not inconsistent with the Constitution.
The provisions of the Bill are not inconsistent with the Constitution, Livera informed Jayasundara, adding that the Bill is not subject to any prohibition or restriction imposed by the 13th Amendment to the Constitution and may be enacted by Parliament.
