(UTV | COLOMBO) – It is reported that Admiral of the Fleet Wasantha Karannagoda is to be appointed as the new Governor of the North Western Province.
Admiral of the Fleet Wasantha Karannagoda, who commanded the Sri Lanka Navy during the Fourth Eelam War, was also the Secretary to the Ministry of Transport during the last Rajapaksa government.
Admiral of the Fleet Wasantha Karannagoda is a brilliant alumnus of Ananda College, Colombo.
