(UTV | COVID-19) – Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Tests have confirmed that 180 Navy Personnel have so far contracted the COVID-19.
According to the Commander of Sri Lanka Army Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, all 180 Navy Personnel are from the Welisara Naval Base.
He stressed that 112 of them were at the Base while 68 others were on leave when they had been confirmed to have contracted the Virus.
