A consignment of medicines from Nepal to Sri Lanka

(UTV | COLOMBO) – A stock of medicines worth over 100 million rupees donated by Reverend Maithiri Thero, the founding president of Lumbini International Buddhist Organization of Nepal, was officially handed over to Sagala Ratnayake, Senior Advisor to the President on National Security and Chief of Presidential Staff, at the Presidential Office this morning (27).

International Lions Club 306 C 2 Balangoda Lions Club requested this stock of medicines to be handed over to the Balangoda Base Hospital.

Sabaragamuwa Provincial Health Services Director Dr. Kapila Kannangara, Medical Superintendent Dr. Iresha Pathirage and International Lions Club 306 C 2 Former Lion President Lasantha Gunawardena, A.P.  Jagatchandra, WKN Wijesuriya, Sunil Obeysekara, Sinha Saman Kumara Hettiarachi and other members of the party were present on the occasion.
