(UTV | COLOMBO) – The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWS&DB) says that the water supply to several areas in Colombo will be suspended for 28 hours from 08.00 p.m. tonight (13).
Accordingly, the water supply to Colombo 04, 05, 06, 07 and 08 will be suspended from 08.00 p.m. today until 12.00 a.m. tomorrow.
In addition, water supply to the Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte and Kaduwela Municipal Council areas, as well as the Maharagama and Boralesgamuwa Municipal Council areas will be suspended during this period.
The Water Board says the water supply to these areas will be suspended due to emergency repair following a leak in the main pipeline supplying water from Ambatale to Kotte.
