Fuel prices to increase from midnight today

UTV | COLOMBO – The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) will revise fuel prices with effect from midnight today (May 10), co-cabinet spokesman Minister Rajitha Senaratne said.

Accordingly the new price of Octane 92petrol will be Rs 137 (per litre), Octane 95 is Rs 148 while Auto Diesel and Super Diesel will be increased to Rs 109 and Rs 119 respectively.

Meanwhile the price of kerosene will be increased to Rs 101 with effect from midnight today (10).

Minister Rajitha Senaratne also stated that fuel usage in the country has increased by 48% over the past 3 years.
