(UTV|COLOMBO) – A number of 17,923 farmers in Kurunegala District are now drawing a pension, Kurunegala District Agricultural and Agrarian Insurance Fund Assistant Director U. R. A. K. C. Kemadasa told.
According to the Assistant Director, about 96,100 farmers of the Kurunegala District have obtained membership in the farmers’ pension scheme.
