‘4,639 individuals presently in quarantine’

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Head of National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva says 4,639 individuals are presently undergoing quarantine measures.

The Army Commander said the group is housed in 42 quarantine centres operated by the Tri-Forces.

Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva added 64 more persons are scheduled to leave for their residences today after completing the 14-day mandatory quarantine procedure.
