SLFP seat organizers summoned to Colombo today

(UTV | COLOMBO) – All seat organizers of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party have been summoned to Colombo today.

Seat organizers will meet for a special discussion to be held under the patronage of SLFP Chairman and of former President Maithripala Sirisena.

SLFP Senior Vice President Prof. Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa said the meeting would begin at 10 am today at the party headquarters.

He said members hope to discuss party reforms and future goals.

Prof. Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa commented that the meeting was timely, since tensions have been created with two Cabinet Ministers sacked from their posts for criticising the government, and 11 parties affiliated to the government holding separate talks.

He hoped to educate seat organizers on possible courses of action during this period.
