NO power shedding today

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka says scheduled power shedding will not take place today or its duration will be reduced.

Issuing a statement PUCSL Chairman Janaka Ratnayake confirmed that a decision was taken in line with the government’s pledge to minimize power cuts from today.

Ratnayake said the probability of power cuts will depend on the availability of fuel stocks.
