(UTV | COLOMBO) – The highest number of deaths reported in a day in the country was recorded yesterday.
This was with another 124 coronavirus deaths reported.
This was the third day in a row where more than 100 covid related deaths were reported.
Meanwhile 2987 new covid infected cases were reported yesterday.
28 deaths reported were between the ages of 30 and 59 with one person below 30.
Accordingly, the total number of deaths reported from Sri Lanka so far is 5,464.
