(UTV | COLOMBO) – Filmmaker Daniel Espinosa might have spoiled a not exactly shocking cameo appearance in the upcoming “Morbius” movie at Sony.
Speaking with Swedish outlet Moviezine (translated by The Direct), the director discussed the experience of shooting a major Hollywood film compared to more local Swedish productions.
He says: “when you look at the schedule and read names like Michael Keaton, Jared Leto, Tom Hardy, then it feels cool and very exciting.”
Leto of course is the star of the film, and Keaton’s cameo was already spoiled over a year ago by the trailer. Word of Hardy’s participation however is new.
As “Morbius” is the second standalone effort of Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters (SPUMC) initiative, it makes sense that we’d see an appearance from “Venom” star Hardy which is likely a cameo in nature.
“Morbius” is slated for January 28th 2022 and will arrive after Hardy’s return as Eddie Brock in “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” which is currently scheduled for next month.
