(UTV | COLOMBO) – Thomas Bezucha (“Let Him Go”) and Ali Selim (“The Looming Tower”) have been tapped to direct the Marvel Studios series “Secret Invasion”.
The pair join a series that has quickly been filling in its cast in recent weeks with Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke and Kingsley Ben-Adir all set to star.
Jackson and Mendelsohn are reprising their movie roles of Nick Fury and shape-shifting Skrull Talos. The comic storyline on which the show is based revealed that Skrulls had infiltrated human society with some of Earth’s superheroes replaced by Skrulls years earlier.
Kyle Bradstreet (“Mr. Robot” is writing and executive producing the six-episode series which will shoot in Europe later this year.
