Three more “Thrones” spin-Offs coming

(UTV| COLOMBO) – HBO is reportedly developing a new trio of “Game of Thrones” prequel spin-off series to go alongside the already cast “House of the Dragon”.

“Rome” co-creator Bruno Heller is attached to the first which is deciding between either “9 Voyages” or “Sea Snake” as the title. The series will center on Westeros’ most famous nautical adventurer Lord Corlys Velaryon (aka. The Sea Snake) who is the head of the incredibly wealthy House Velaryon which also claims the largest navy in the world.

Corlys Velaryon is also husband to Rhaenys Targaryen. This one will unfold in the same time period as ‘House’ – a little over two centuries before the events of ‘Thrones’. As a result, it seems actors Steve Toussaint and Eve Best will appear in both series in the roles of Lord Corlys and Princess Rhaenyrs respectively.

The other two new series, which have no writers yet attached, are titled “Flea Bottom” and “10,000 Ships”. The former will take place in the poorest district of King’s Landing. The latter will revolve around Princess Nymeria, who journeyed with the Rhoynar to Dorne and married Lord Mors Martell.
