A rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) was recovered by Navy during a search carried out at Saukkadi beach in Manipai, Jaffna on 21st April 2020.
Naval personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command, during a patrol carried out in Manipai area, had found this RPG at Saukkadi beach and it is believed that this might have left behind during the humanitarian operation. The recovered RPG was successfully disposed by the Navy Bomb Disposal Unit.
