(UTV|COLOMBO) – In wake of the awkward press launch and filming having begun, you might think the problems surrounding the upcoming “Bond 25” were behind the filmmakers. Not so much.
The film has been plagued with issues for some time with writer and director switches and talk of re-writes up until the last minute. Now The Daily Mail regular Bond scooper Baz Bamigboye has reported that said problems have rolled over into early production – especially in terms of the script.
The report indicates said script is in a constant state of flux with just about everyone involved contributing last minute additions to the currently shooting project. “Killing Eve” creator Pheobe Waller-Bridge signed onto the project recently and at the time it was thought to be just to polish dialogue and beef up the female characters.
The paper’s source indicates it’s more than that: “She’s writing a re-write of a re-write… Daniel’s writing. Cary’s writing. The crew reckon they’re working on a well-polished s–t show… They have an outline of plot, but dialogue is all last minute.”
Whatever state it is in, “Bond 25” is set to hit cinemas on April 8th 2020.
