The 1969 Trinity rugby team mates get together to celebrate its 50th year on Friday May 10 in Kandy, the day before the first leg of the Bradby has been called off.

First leg of the Bradby doubtful?

The much-awaited Bradby Shield rugby first round encounter between Trinity College and Royal College which was to be played on 11 of May in Kandy is in the balance due to the current security situation in the country.

In 1971 there was only one leg played due to the JVP insurgency, and will this time too will it be a repetition? This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Bradby.
