(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Residents of Dambagalla area in Monaragala has lodged a police complaint stating that the nutrition pack given to pregnant mothers were infested with bugs and worms.
During a raid last night (20th Monday) Public Health Inspectors (PHIs) have found nutrition packs that were unsuitable for human consumption.
A shop owner who sold the packs was arrested.
