(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The fire that broke out at a multi storied shop on 1st Cross Street Pettah yesterday (18th Saturday) morning has been brought under control by now.
According to Fire Brigade Spokesperson, 9 fire extinguishing trucks were used to douse the fire.
he fire broke out on the 3rd story of the multi storied shop and because the floor contained toys and plastic items, it became a difficult task to control the spreading of the fire.
