Not to disrupt studies until SAITM dispute is resolved – President

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – President Maithripala Sirisena requested University Students Unions not to disrupt their education until the dispute over SAITM, is resolved.

A discussion over the Malabe Private Medical School dispute was held between President Maithripala Sirisena and University Students Unions this afternoon at the Presidential Secretariat.

University Students Unions have forwarded possible actions that could be taken to solve the SAITM issue during the meeting.

However, the President has told that a just solution that is agreeable to all parties will be meted out with regard to the SAITM dispute.
