“Ranminithenna Not to Be Sold to Foreigners” – Min. Gayantha assures

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The publicity that Ranminithenna will be sold to foreigners is totally false. We have not taken such a decision stated Minister of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media Gayantha Karunathilaka.

Artistes on Tuesday (03rd) accused the government saying that they are getting ready to sell Ranminithenna to foreigners. Answering a question by journalists Minister Karunathilaka denied it saying that the government had not taken such a decision.

He said the artistes are reluctant to use Ranminithenna due to the distance from Colombo and said that artistes are more than welcome to use it. Minister Karunathilaka said that they are also exploring the opportunity of finding a location closer to Colombo.
