(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – A stock of live bullets was discovered hidden inside a hole of a tree at a cemetery in Madirigiriya Yudaganava area.
The bullets were found on a tip received from Air Force officials, police informed.
66 T 56 bullets, 5 MPMG bullets and another 44 live bullets were discovered.
The suspect is not yet identified. The live bullets will be produced before Hingurakgoda Magistrate’s Court and Madirigiriya police has commenced an investigation on this incident.
