(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – North Central High Court released an Army Special Forces (SF) deserter Iron Ranasinghe as known as SF Lokka on strict bail conditions.
Iron Ranasinghe was in remand for over a year in connection with the murder of Karate Champion Wasantha Soyza.
High Court Judge Manjula Thilakarathna who released the suspect on one hundred thousand rupees cash bail and two surety bails of 500 thousand rupees each ordered the suspect not to intimidate the witnesses.
The Judge also informed that the sureties should produce documents to prove their residency.
