(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Notices were issued by Colombo High Court Judge W.A. Kalu Aarachchi today (06th Monday) on the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID), the IGP and the Attorney General ordering them to appear before Court on February 13th.
Notices were issued on the three parties after the revised bail application of Parliamentarian (MP) Wimal Weerawansa was considered by the High Court today.
The lawyers of Wimal Weerawansa filed a revised bail application with the High Court on January 31st.
Weerawansa has been remanded until tomorrow on the charges of malicious use of government funds, breach of confidence, fraud, and aiding and abetting fraud.
