(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – A group of airborne troops on parachutes faced heavy windy conditions during their final rehearsal for the 69th Independence Day Celebrations.
However, as a safety precaution they landed in the sea during which one soldier was injured and entered into the Colombo National Hospital.
The Navy (SLN) took immediate to bring the parachutes to the shore.
