(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – An 8-year old student of a school in Kattankudy was hospitalized yesterday (1st Wednesday), after being assaulted by his class teacher.
The class teacher allegedly assaulted the boy when he returned to the classroom after using the restroom.
25 scars were counted on his body.
The Kattankudy Police is further investigating the incident, upon a complaint filed by the parents of the assaulted student.
