(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – National Institute of Social Development (NISD) under the Ministry of Social Empowerment and Welfare signed a MoU with the University of Sri Jayawardhanapura yesterday (1st Feb.) to award all the degree and diploma courses conducted by the NISD from the University.
Accordingly, the ‘Social Work’ Degree and its post-graduate diploma, and other diplomas awarded by the NISD will be awarded hereafter by the University of Sri Jayawardhanapura.
The MoU signing ceremony held at the Minstry in Battaramulla was participated by the Minister S.B. Dissanyake, Ministry Secretary Mahinda Senevirathne, Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Sampath Amarathunghe, and the Director General of NISD Ridley Jayasinghe
