UTV | COLOMBO – Victor Rathnayake’s wife granted bail
Tangalle Magistrate Mahil Wijeweera has ordered to grant bail to the wife of veteran singer Victor Ratnayake, Hashini Amendra.
The order was issued on 12th of February.
She was granted bail based on bail conditions set by Tangalle High Court and the court imposed a ban on her overseas travels.
She was ordered to place two personal bails of Rs. 1 million each and the personal sureties should be close relatives of the suspect.
Hashini Amendra is accused of misappropriating gold jewellery worth over Rs. 1 million which were pawned by customers in a state bank where she had been working.
