Administrative officers to protest against Ranajan Ramanayake

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The Sri Lanka Administrative Service Association stated today that its members will take trade union action unless action is taken against Deputy Minister Ranajan Ramanayake for scolding the Divulapitiya Divisional Secretary.

During an inspection to a soil mining site at Dunagaha in Divulapitiya, Deputy Minister Ranjan Ramanayake contacted the Divisional Secretary in the area over the phone.

Meanwhile, MP Indika Anuruddha states that he will file a Rs. 500 million defamation lawsuit against Deputy Minister Ranjan Ramanayake.

Consequently, Chairman of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service Association Ranjith Ariyarathne, in a communiqué, stated that his association condemned the incident.
