(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Former Deputy Minister Sarath Kumara Gunaratne has been granted bail by Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court, a short while ago.
He was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) after a statement was recorded from him on January 2 regarding alleged misappropriation of funds of the Negombo lagoon development project.
