(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – A 34-year-old underworld figure, Tranil Bandara Dharmasiri known as Banda, has been killed in Athurugiriya after an unidentified suspect had opened fire at him, the Police said.
Police said that the man was identified as a suspect who was evading the courts for two murders.
The remains of the deceased will be taken to the Colombo National Hospital for an autopsy.
