(UTV | COLOMBO) – The wholesale prices of several items, including lentils and white sugar, have been reduced at the Pettah market, the Essential Food Commodities Importers and Traders Association said.
The price of a kilo of lentils has been reduced from Rs. 375 to Rs. 350.
A kilo of white sugar which was sold for Rs. 290 has been reduced to Rs. 225.
The Essential Food Commodities Importers and Traders Association said the price of a kilo of wheat flour has also been reduced to Rs. 250.
