By that, Binura has mentioned that he will take a break from cricket for a short period of time.
He also said that he will return to the field stronger.
Binura also says that he feels sorry for making fun of his disability through social media.
He has stated that he is a good Buddhist even though he does not have a tattoo on his arm and that he wishes “healing” to all those who insult him.
Binura Fernando suffered an injury during the T20 World Cup Super 12 match against Australia.
As a result, he missed the upcoming matches of this year’s Twenty20 World Cup cricket tournament.
