(UTV | COLOMBO) – The price of a 12.5kg Litro domestic cylinder will be reduced by between Rs.200 and Rs.300 at midnight tomorrow (5).
Chairman of Litro Gas Muditha Peiris said prices of other LP gas cylinders will also be reduced proportionately.
Litro Chairman Muditha Peiris said prices are being revised based on the pricing formula introduced by the government.
During the last month’s revision, the price of a 12.5kg cylinder in Colombo was reduced by Rs.113 to Rs.4,551.
Meanwhile, the price of a 5kg cylinder was reduced by Rs.45 to Rs.1,827 and a 2.3kg cylinder was reduced by Rs.21 to Rs.848.
Litro Chairman Muditha Peiris said the decision to reduce prices has been taken following the reduction in prices in the world market.
