(UTV | COLOMBO) – Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera has held discussions with the Deputy Director General of the Qatar Fund for Development.
The Minister said the two parties discussed a possible Credit Line for the supply of both petrol and gas.
Minister Wijesekera said he was informed that funds have been allocated for medical supplies while the Qatar official said the request for a credit facility and support towards the International Monetary Fund program will be considered.
