UTV | COLOMBO – President Gotabaya Rajapaksa says Colombo will be developed under a well-designed plan while addressing main issues faced by the people.
The President’s Media Division said the lack of housing facilities, garbage disposal and flooding among other issues affecting the people in the Colombo District will be addressed under the programme.
The President yesterday toured the Colombo District. President Rajapaksa meanwhile requested the people to grant him a 2/3rds majority in Parliament to take the country forward.
The President also stated that directives have been issued to government institutions to procure furniture only from local manufacturers.
