UTV | COLOMBO – The Police Department has introduced new e-mail addresses for public to lodged complaints in relations to narcotic related incidents, underworld activities and extortion.
The public can lodge complaints via the 1997@police.lk or 1917@police.lk emails addresses or via the 011-2440440 fax number.
Yesterday, Police announced that it has introduced two new hotlines to report incidents related to narcotics, national security, underworld actives and extortion.
Information pertaining to such incidents can be provided via 1991 and 1917 hotlines.
Complaints can also be lodged over the illegal acquisition of wealth and incidents related to money laundering.
