(UTV | COLOMBO) – Landslide warnings issued for 10 districts are still in effect due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions.
The risk of landslides has increased in several Divisional Secretariats in Colombo, Galle, Kalutara, Kandy, Kegalle, Kurunegala, Matale, Matara, Nuwara Eliya, and Ratnapura Districts, the National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) stated.
Accordingly, the residents in areas where warnings have been issued urged to remain vigilant of landslide risks.
