(UTV|COLOMBO) – The National Movement for People’s Power has reached the final stage of completing nominations for the upcoming General Election.

Speaking to a prominent online news portal former Parliamentarian Nalinda Jayathissa said the alliance will commence submitting nominations for the election to relevant places on the 17^th, 18^th and 19^th of March.

The former MP said the National Movement for People’s Power will contest the 2020 General Election under the symbol of the compass.

Former MP Jayathissa said the alliance will field a group of professionals that the public has requested.
