(UTV|COLOMBO) – United National Party Parliamentarian Ravi Karunanayake says the truth behind the controversial bond transactions have been revealed through the Forensic Audit report.
Addressing media after calling on the Archbishop of Colombo Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith yesterday, where a copy of the report was handed over to the Cardinal, MP Karunanayake said despite various news items over the bond transactions, they were proven false through the Forensic Audit report.
He stressed the real events of the bond scam were unveiled through the forensic audit report, adding everyone who was framed by the media circus over this incident has been proved innocent in the report.
He claimed tarnished names have now been been cleared.
The MP said these facts were highlighted during the time the Maha Nayake’s were called upon, adding accordingly the report was presented to the Cardinal as well.
