(UTV|COLOMBO) – Former Minister Piyasena Gamage has called for all factions of the United National Party to unite in order to claim victory at the next General Election.
Speaking to media in Galle, Parliamentarian Gamage said he is hopeful that all factions will unite before the election in order to defeat the present administration.
The MP said the government is trying to indicate that there are conflicts within the UNP, claiming that there are no conflicts and there never will be.
MP Gamage added all members will unite and face the General Election as an alliance with necessary support being provided.
He claimed there is one opinion across the board that the election can be won.
MP Gamage stated there should be no conflicts and arguments, adding that then only can the election be won.
