(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – There is high possibility for thunderstorm to occur over Southern, Sabaragamuwa, Western, and Uva provinces today (9th March), Met Department said.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places over most provinces after 2.00 pm.
Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
