(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The skyrocketing coconut prices will decrease before the Sinhala and Tamil New Year, Hector Kobbekaduwa Agrarian Research and Training Institute states.
The cost of a coconut is between Rs. 60-70 currently.
Meanwhile, the cost of coconut oil has increase in par with the coconut price hike, to Rs. 250-280 per liter.
