Writ petition for Karuna’s arrest dismissed

UTV | COLOMBO – A writ petition filed seeking an order to arrest Vinayagamoorthy Muralitharan alias Karuna Amman over a statement he recently made, was dismissed by the Court of Appeal today.

The Court of Appeal observed that there is no legal basis to proceed with this application.

This petition was filed by Boseth Kalahepathirana, a resident of Kaduwela.
