UTV | COLOMBO – Leader of the United National Party Former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has emphasized the need to restructure the UNP completely, in order to successfully face future elections.
The UNP Leader has held discussions with the former Parliamentarians and senior members of the party pertaining to the 2020 General Election and other election related matters.
Former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has informed the party members to hold discussions with all stakeholders and identify a new leadership group to steer the party forward.
Party seniors have been requested to submit their proposals during the next Working Committee meeting.
