(UTV | COLOMBO) – A Police Sub-Inspector (SI) died after a van rammed on to Officers inspecting vehicles in Rajagiriya. Another individual also died in the accident.
The Police Officers were inspecting a mini lorry when the accident occurred. A van had crashed into the Officers running over a SI and an assistant of the mini lorry driver.
The accident had occurred on the Parliament Road between the Ayurveda Roundabout and the Rajagiriya Flyover.
