(UTV | COLOMBO) – Troops of 9 Gemunu Watch of 582 Brigade under command to the 58 Division during cleaned the Wadduwa Coastal Belt which was affected due to debris of the damaged ‘X Press Perl’ Vessel.
Troops carried out this programme on the directions of General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army and under the supervision of Major General Champaka Ranasinghe, General Officer Commanding, 58 Division, Brigadier Kavinda Balasooriya, Commander 582 Brigade.
